A beautiful and popular maple, Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' is a
large shrub with deeply-cut, purple leaves in spring / summer which turn
a vivid scarlet in the autumn before falling.
Our latest plant video shows the vivid scarlet red autumn colour of a 12 year old Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' in our gardens last year (October 2011!).
